Dear fellow Ontario Landlords,

It's time for change. It's time to unite, to advocate together for a landlord-tenant process that serves us all. The current system falls short, failing to support landlords in their livelihoods and their crucial role in providing housing for tenants. It's not fair to the hardworking, deserving tenants seeking homes and happiness for their families. Change is overdue, and it's time to create a fair system that works for everyone.

For too long, the system has disregarded the interests of both good landlords and good tenants, driving a wedge between us. This division, this animosity, it's a result of a broken system that no longer serves its purpose. Now is the time for us to come together, to bridge the gap between landlords and tenants, to collaborate in crafting affordable housing solutions.

If we don't act swiftly, Ontario will face a housing emergency. Landlords will struggle to maintain properties, to invest in new housing, and affordable homes will become increasingly scarce.

This is a call to action for all landlords and tenants alike. It's time to work hand in hand, to build a system that benefits everyone. Tenants are a crucial part of this change, and their involvement is pivotal in our collective efforts to create affordable housing.

My organization and I are committed to starting a non-profit organization dedicated to this cause. We're not here with just another petition, futile and without direction, signed and forgotten. We've seen countless petitions go nowhere, lacking substance, action, or organization—mere collections of signatures on paper.

We are different. We are committed to giving you a voice, a voice filled with organization and purpose. This is not just a petition; it's a movement for change.
