Tenants are informed that the landlord is enrolled in a Rent Guarantee Program, meaning OLH manages the property with licensed paralegals and LandlordEzy. If tenants fail to pay rent, OLH may cover rent on behalf of the landlord, begin the eviction process immediately, and use all legal means to collect rent. OLH may seek judgments and may share outcomes with landlord networks where permitted.
Equifax Rent Reporting
- Rent payments may be reported to Equifax each month
- On-time payments can help improve a tenant’s credit
- Late payments can negatively impact a tenant’s credit
- Judgments from unpaid rent may be uploaded to Equifax as credit judgments, affecting future renting and borrowing ability
